Gena Sullivan is a stylish, artistic and creative Hair Stylist and Makeup Artist based in Miami, Florida. Born and raised in Greenwood, South Carolina, where she lived with her mother, father and brother, she was greatly influenced and inspired by her personable grandmother who owned a salon called Hughes Beauty Salon in Chester, South Carolina. Following her passion, Gena went on to study at USC Aiken (Business Management Studies) and the Empire Beauty School (Cosmetologist). While in college, Gena would do her classmate’s hair and for the residents in Aiken, South Carolina. In 2002, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia considered to be the South’s Hair capital, to pursue her love for the beauty career. She started working in a Buckhead salon where she became the Celebrity Stylist. An amiable personality, she started building relationships with people in the industry and shortly after she established a portfolio and got an agent, Ford Models in Atlanta, GA.

Since then she has been self-employed with 22 years of experience under her belt. Exceptionally great at what she does, her work became on-demand and takes her on the road - Miami, Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York and anywhere else creative duty calls. Her experience includes hair styling and make-up for videos, commercials, films, editorials, runways, etc. She has worked on beauty editorials with several magazines such as Vogue Magazine, Vanidades, XXL, Six Degrees, Upscales, Jadore, Jezebel, Ebony, Miami Monthly among others; Catalogs such as Macys, Aeropostale, American Girl etc. She has also worked her magic on the set of Movies such as Rock of Ages, I Am Frankie, David Makes Man, O Girls (Oprah Winfrey Doc.) Step Up 4, Tyler Perry's "House of Payne" (TV Series); Music videos such as Lil Wayne "The Only Reason" and “Lolli Pop”, Ray J Feat. Young Berg "Sexy Can I" and many more.

Gena is all about representing her own style and thinking out of the box with hair products, hair extensions and makeup lines. She draws her inspiration from different styles in seasons or the clients’ character or desires. Gena Sullivan is a believer in Quality; doing good quality healthy hair and beautiful well done hair extensions. With make-up, she loves to make the skin flawless by working with her clients’ skin tone and educating them on low maintenance ways to keep their hair and skin healthy. In her spare time, she enjoys family, friends, the beach, gym, cooking and spa. She also gives back as a public speaker at the Greenwood South Carolina Vocational School.
